Emmanuel recognizes the growing community of Christians on the campus of Mississippi State and considers it a true privilege to both provide ministry and receive ministry from students during their years of study. Sunday school is an opportunity to get plugged into a small group and get to know people on a deeper level. We would love to have you join us at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday morning.
Jonathan Tucker, along with wife, Memrie, currently leads the Emmanuel College & Career Sunday school class. Emmanuel is using the Answers in Genesis curriculum church-wide, the description of which may be checked out in their Store on the AIG Website.
The College-Career Sunday school class meets in the large classroom on the right of the hallway when entering the left doorway into the Worship Center…or…another entrance to this classroom is adjacent to the ‘coffee bar’ in the foyer of the Worship Center. Light breakfast snacks and juices are available.
All college and career students are invited to join us for an intensive study and serious approach to God’s Word as we come together to learn and grow in Christ.
Through Biblical teaching and discipleship, you will be prepared to answer life’s most fundamental question, and you will be given the skills to live in Christian victory as you face the difficulties of college life. Some of the things we emphasize:
- A clear presentation of the Gospel
- Freedom in Jesus Christ
- Regular study of the Scriptures
- Progression in spiritual maturity – discipleship
- Enjoying life through worship
- Opportunities to minister
Additionally, at 7:00 p.m. each Sunday evening, the College and Career young adults meet at the home of Everett and Rachelle McKibben for fellowship, a meal, and a time of devotion led by Dr. McKibben.
